Collier County Clerk of the Circuit Courts and Comptroller’s Office will be closing its main office and satellite offices between Tuesday, October 8 and Friday, October 11. Additionally, the Clerk’s satellite offices will remain closed on October 14, as previously scheduled.
The Clerk’s IT Department is diligently working to keep web-based services such as e-filing of records, paying court and traffic fines, as well as records research available during the hurricane. While the Collier County Courthouse Annex is built to withstand Category 5 storms to protect the integrity of systems and records, there may be intermittent outages of web-based services depending on the severity of the local impact of Hurricane Milton on utilities and external communication systems. Visit collierclerk.com to access these services.
Clerk Crystal K. Kinzel also reminds citizens to be cautious about fraudulent emails and social media messages containing malicious links that are common after major natural disasters. The Clerk’s Office provides a free Risk Alert Notification Program, which allows registered users to easily monitor their property records and report suspicious activities that may lead to fraud. Email and text notifications will be sent to users if the records listed during the registration have been accessed, making it easier to act in protecting their records.
To register, visit our Risk Alert Enrollment page and enter a valid email address to receive an email from the “Collier Clerk of Courts: Risk Alert” account that includes a link where you can complete the registration. You will be asked to list the names of people or businesses and the types of official records you would want to be monitored. Once registration is complete, you will receive an email notification every time a new document is recorded that matches your selected criteria.
Updates will also be available on our News and Announcements page.
Please Stay Safe!
