What Is The Self-Help Center?

The Collier County Self-Help Center is a resource for individuals representing themselves in civil and family court matters.

Who Can Use It?

The Self-Help Center which is the first of its kind in Collier County, is available to anyone regardless of their financial situation and is especially beneficial to those who cannot afford an attorney.

What Services Are Offered?

Computers are provided to complete the necessary forms for civil and family court matters involving:

  • Small Claims
  • Family Law
  • Civil Injunctions of Protection Petitions
  • Paternity
  • Dissolution of Marriage
  • Name Change
  • Landlord/Tenant Issues

What Services Are NOT Offered?

  • Criminal Law
  • Traffic

Is There Someone To Assist Me?

The center is operated by the Collier County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller and is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A Deputy Clerk is available for assistance but cannot provide legal advice.
