Collier County Clerk Invites You to Tie the Knot this Halloween

Clerk Crystal K. Kinzel is pleased to announce that appointments are open for couples to get married or renew their vows in the Collier County Courthouse Chapel (3315 Tamiami Trail E, Naples, FL) on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. The Chapel will be decorated for the fall season and couples are welcome to say their ‘I Dos’ while in their best Halloween attire to fully embrace the holiday.

“There is so much to love about the fall season, and we hope that this opportunity brings out some of the creative couples that make Collier County a unique place to live. We’re looking forward to seeing sports fans, witches, zombies, and more,” said Clerk Crystal K. Kinzel.

Appointment availability is limited, so couples who are interested are encouraged to register early to reserve their spots. The ceremony fee is $30 and should be paid upon confirmation of your appointment. First-time engaged couples must secure a valid wedding license at the Clerk’s office prior to the wedding day. Please take note that couples will be required to pass through courthouse security, so they are encouraged to be mindful in costume selection.

To apply for a marriage license, visit the Clerk’s website at CollierClerk.com and use the Marriage Button, or stop by the Recording Department on the 2nd Floor of the Collier County Courthouse or one of the Satellite Office Locations and present the following requirements: valid ID (Driver’s License, State ID, Military ID, or Passport) and Social Security Number. Both parties must be present and should be at least 18 years old upon application.

Couples should take note that marriage licenses are only valid for a 60-day period. Therefore, they must ensure that their marriage licenses are still effective on the day of the ceremony for their marriage to be valid. In applying for marriage licenses, standard rates will apply.

Please contact 239-252-7242 or email marriagehelp@collierclerk.com to pre-register. Additional information about the Marriage License application is available at collierclerk.com.
