DIY Florida

What Is DIY Florida?

DIY Florida helps you create legal documents by answering simple specific questions about your situation through interviews.  These interviews provide definitions and statutory references to help guide you properly in filing your document(s).  Those legal documents can then be filed electronically through the E-Portal to start a new court case or respond to an existing case.

Register for a Free Account

DIY Florida is accessible through the E-Portal found at: https://www.myflcourtaccess.com/. From that website, you will be asked to register for an account. Once you have registered, sign in and select “Filing options -> DIY Documents”. Select the appropriate interview for your case and follow the instructions.

Fees

There are no fees when using these DIY forms.

Submit Forms

Before you submit any forms, make sure all paperwork is completed. Once your have completed the interview, the document will be generated with your answers and electronic signature. You will then be directed to the Portal filing path so you can submit your document to the Clerk.   If you prefer, you may print, sign, and file the document(s) with the Clerk in person or through the mail.

Assistance Needed?

See the Help tab in the portal for a training manual and a variety of instructional videos, including  “how to register for an account” and “how to file a new case.”
