Every year, the Collier County Board of County Commissioners conducts a Budget Workshop where proposed budgets are reviewed before the following fiscal year. This is a great opportunity to learn where your tax dollars will be directed for the upcoming year and more importantly, you can get involved and speak up for your community.
The Budget Workshop for FY2024 will be a Hybrid Remote workshop held on Thursday, June 15, from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM in the Board of County Commissioners meeting room on the third floor of the W. Harmon Turner Building. Residents are welcome to attend in person or participate remotely by registering on a Zoom link that will soon be available. The meeting will also be available for viewing on Collier Television as well as www.colliercountyfl.gov/ctv and www.facebook.com/CollierGov . Pre-registered individuals will receive an email before the meeting detailing how they can participate.
The general discussion will be held immediately after the budget presentations. All registered public speakers will be limited to three minutes unless changed by the chairman. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication or other reasonable accommodations to participate in this proceeding should contact the Collier County Facilities Management Division no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event. Such reasonable accommodation will be provided at no cost to the individual.
