Save the date for the 4th annual Valentine’s Day Wedding and Vow Renewal Ceremony

Valentine’s Day is extra special at the Clerk’s office, and we have already begun plans for our 4th Annual Valentine’s Day Wedding and Vow Renewal Ceremony on Wednesday, February 14th, 2024. Details for this exciting event are still to come, but whether you are marrying or renewing your vows, we hope you will make plans to join us!

As your Collier County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller, my dedicated staff and I perform more than 1,000 constitutional duties and statutory roles in service of the people of Collier County. One of these roles is to act as an Agent for the State of Florida to issue Marriage Licenses within Collier County. Hosting this ceremony is an opportunity to celebrate the most romantic day of the year with our constituents, who are embarking on a new life together or renewing those prior commitments. It is an honor to officiate a ceremony that brings so much love and joy to our community.

Limited space is available, so couples are encouraged to register early for the 2024 Wedding and Vow Renewal Ceremony. You may click the button below, call 239-252-7242, or email celebration@collierclerk.com to register for the event and for more information about the marriage license application.

Marriage vow renewals are free, but engaged couples must pay a $30 wedding ceremony fee and secure a valid marriage license. To apply for a marriage license, visit the Recording Department on the 2nd Floor of the Collier County Courthouse or one of the Satellite Office Locations and present the following requirements: valid ID (Driver’s License, State ID, Military ID, or Passport) and Social Security Number. Both parties must be present and should be at least 18 years old upon the application.

Engaged couples should plan to secure their marriage licenses between December 16th, 2023, and February 11th, 2024, to be eligible to marry on Valentine’s Day. In applying for marriage licenses, standard rates will apply and if the couple has completed a premarital preparation course, they must present this to us during application.

The Clerk is also seeking community partners and local sponsors who wish to make Valentine’s Day a fun and memorable day for all participating couples. Local sponsors who are willing to provide food, drinks, cakes, decorations, and gift bag items that the couples can enjoy after the ceremony are welcome. Sponsors may also contribute directly to the bride and groom by gifting the couples with exclusive coupons, event tickets, or local experiences.

Financial contributions and sponsorships will be recognized with benefits that include logo placement on the event signage, banners, and CollierClerk.com. Interested sponsors and partners should contact 239-252-7242 for more information.
