On March 2-4, 2024, our office upgraded the County’s Official Records System to improve transparency and accessibility for residents. One of the new features allows for online wedding ceremonies.
Through the new on-line wedding ceremony, couples will be able to get married via videoconference from anywhere in the State of Florida. We are offering this new service to make it more accessible, reduce time spent on roadways to get to our office, and streamline the process.
The on-line marriage license application is now available for couples to apply and receive a Marriage License on-line without visiting the Clerk’s office.
We recently married the first couple, who are Collier County residents. We hope to see more couples tying the knot even on-line!
We continue to perform in-person weddings in our Courthouse Annex Wedding space or at our Satellite locations.
