The Courts Department is an essential part of the local court system by providing superior customer service to the public, the legal community, law enforcement, other governmental agencies, and the Judiciary.

The Critical work provided by the Court/Customer Service Clerks include maintaining and protecting the integrity of the court case files, jury management, court room activities that include swearing in witnesses and recording evidence submitted to the courts, assisting in the self-help center, and conducting foreclosure auctions.  Additionally, the Court/Customer Service clerks accepts fines, fees and assessments and ensures the distribution of funds collected are distributed in accordance with the law.

The Clerk’s Office Information Technology Department is responsible for reimagining how technology is used to streamline and simplify the services the Clerk’s Office provides to the community, businesses, and other agencies of Collier County.

The SAP Functional Analyst is an essential part of the success of the finance, payroll, materials management, and human resources functions. The SAP Functional Analyst will gather business requirements, analyze business needs, and develop solutions across the SAP S/4Hana and SuccessFactors functional and technical landscape. This highly visible professional will analyze areas of efficiency/deficiency within the organization, aid in the development of technical solutions and communicate these solutions effectively with non-technical users.  The scope of this role includes scripting and auto-testing, software/system improvements, end user guidance, analytics, and research into existing and new technologies, software/system improvements, end user guidance, analytics, and research into existing and new technologies, with a strong collaboration between management, technical staff, and end users.  

The Systems Analyst is critical to the success of the Courts department.  This software developer position requires the ability to analyze, design, develop, and maintain the court management system that is used by Judges, attorneys, Clerk’s Office staff, the public, law enforcement, and the Judiciary.  The Systems Analyst will test, debug, and implement software solutions as directed.  Located in the court operations area, the Systems Analyst works closely with court staff to develop and maintain data solutions by using established tools such as reports, forms, workflows, web services, small interactive user interfaces and performs required modifications to data applications to meet changing business needs and/or as directed by law. 

The Computer Support Technician provides support in-person or by phone to internal staff, external customers, and external agencies in the day-to-day use of the Clerk’s computer systems and applications.  This professional will build, configure, deploy, and repair Clerk’s Office devices and equipment and provide technical support to end users experiencing issues.  Generally, as the first line of assistance for all technical related issues, the Computer Support Technician is required to diagnose advanced technology problems, identify solutions, and resolve the issues in accordance with established timelines and procedures.  This highly visible position provides positive customer service to clients that are often distressed.
