Lobbyist Registration

The Minutes & Records Department also registers and maintains a current lobbyist list for those representing clients that want to lobby before the BCC, county officials, advisory boards, and others to promote projects. Registration is done in accordance with the County’s current Ethics Ordinance.

FAQs

Lobbyists that speak before the BCC and Advisory Boards are required to register with the Clerk’s Office each fiscal year and update quarterly (Jan, April, & July). There is a registration fee of $25 per lobbyist. If you  have any questions please call us at the numbers listed above.
