I am pleased to announce that registration is open for the 4th Annual Valentine’s Day Wedding and Vow Renewal Ceremony, which will be held in the Eva Sugden Gomez Center at Baker Park on February 14, 2024. This event is organized by the Collier County Clerk of the Courts.
Upon arrival at the venue, couples will be welcomed to the beautiful scenery of Baker Park, and beginning at 10:00 am, Clerk Kinzel will officiate the ceremonies. The ceremony will be followed by delicious and filling hors d’oeuvres from The Hangout by Two Guys, a magnificent wedding cake from Seed to Table, and a commemorative photo opportunity from Let Me Be Candid Photography to capture the couple’s sweetest moments, to name just a few of our community sponsors.
Marriage vow renewals are free, but engaged couples marrying must pay a $30 wedding ceremony fee and secure a valid marriage license prior to the event. To apply for a marriage license, please visit the Recording Department on the 2nd Floor of the Collier County Courthouse or one of the Satellite Office Locations and present the following requirements: valid ID (Driver’s License, State ID, Military ID, or Passport) and Social Security Number. Both parties must be present and should be at least 18 years old upon the application.
Engaged couples should plan to secure their marriage licenses between December 16, 2023, and February 11, 2024, to be eligible to marry on Valentine’s Day. In applying for marriage licenses, standard rates will apply, and if the couple has completed a premarital preparation course, they must present this to the Clerk’s office during application.
Limited space is available, so couples are encouraged to register early for the 2024 Wedding and Vow Renewal Ceremony. Additional information about the Marriage License application is available at collierclerk.com.
REGISTRATION IS CLOSED
We are at maximum capacity for the 2024 event. We hope to see you next year!
