Our Information Technology Department is responsible for re-imagining how technology is used to streamline and simplify the services the Clerk’s Office provides to the citizens, businesses, and other agencies of Collier County.  Whether it is assisting staff with hardware issues, deploying new equipment and technology, enhancing software to ensure our systems run at optimal levels, protecting our data, or maintaining our networks and servers/cloud-base systems, the staff of the Information Technology Department play a vital role.  We are committed to utilizing innovative technology solutions to ensure the Clerk’s Office is working smarter and more efficiently with one simple goal in mind, ensure the needs of the citizens of Collier County are met. 

The SAP team is responsible for ensuring that SAP, which is the financial engine for the county’s $2 billion annual budget is seamlessly available to our internal clients and business partners.  SAP is an Enterprise Resource Planning suite with modules for:

  • accounts payable
  • accounts receivable
  • fixed assets
  • general ledger
  • human resources
  • payroll
  • project accounting
  • purchasing
  • Receiving

A major SAP project is underway to automate Time & Attendance data capture as well as provide direct employee self-service to further increase efficiencies.

The SAP team has immediate openings for an SAP Functional Analyst.  This highly visible professional plays an essential part of the success of the finance, payroll, materials management, and human resources functions.

 

The SAP Functional Analyst will:

  • gather business requirements, analyze business needs, and develop solutions across the SAP S/4Hana and SuccessFactors functional and technical landscape
  • analyze areas of efficiency/deficiency within the organization
  • aid in the development of technical solutions
  • communicate these solutions effectively with non-technical users
  • script and auto test management software/system improvements, end user guidance, analytics, and research into existing and new technologies, with a strong collaboration between management, technical staff, and end users
